Rocco Scarsella is a Partner and Senior Financial Planner at Sano. For Rocco, financial planning has never been about money alone. It has always been about helping families navigate life’s biggest decisions with confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.
Long before founding Sano, Rocco experienced firsthand how overwhelming life can become when families are faced with significant financial challenges without a trusted guide. Helping his own family through those moments inspired a career dedicated to ensuring others never have to navigate life’s financial decisions alone.
Since beginning his career in 1984, Rocco has remained committed to one simple belief: every family deserves thoughtful guidance, honest conversations, and a long-term plan built around what matters most to them.
What began as a small practice serving families in Dearborn, Michigan has grown into one of the region’s leading independent wealth management firms. While the firm has grown over the decades, its purpose has remained unchanged—to simplify complexity, build lasting relationships, and help clients feel prepared for whatever comes next.
Today, that philosophy lives on through Sano. As Founder and President, Rocco continues to guide the firm’s vision while helping shape its culture, mentoring the next generation of advisors, and ensuring every client experience reflects the values upon which the firm was built. He believes exceptional client relationships begin with exceptional people and has spent decades investing in advisors who share his commitment to integrity, continuous learning, and genuinely caring for the families they serve.
More than four decades after beginning his career, Rocco remains driven by the same purpose that inspired him from the start: helping families make confident financial decisions today while building a legacy that lasts for generations.
Rocco currently holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 63, and 65 securities registrations, along with life, health, and accident insurance licenses.
Outside the office, Rocco enjoys spending time with his wife Kathy and their family, embracing everything Michigan has to offer. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys golfing, biking, snowmobiling, riding ATVs, photography, and spending time in nature throughout every season.
